ADMIRAL PARENT EDITION
Admiral Staff Member Of The Month - April - Latonia Evans
Congratulations Ms. Evans! Enjoy your parking space!
A Special Note From Our Librarians
The Hammond Librarians would like to thank our PTA President Ursula Pineda, our parent volunteers Yolanda Carrasco, Michelle Tello, Mildred Rivera, Ana Joya and our Parent Liaison Diana Miranda, for their commitment of time, energy and support of our FCH Scholastic Book Fair. Mrs. Pineda took our library back in time with her amazing 70’s inspired decorations complete with peace signs, flower power and a handmade VW Van display. You are all such incredible volunteers and because of your dedication and hard work our Book Fair was a success. We would also like to thank our wonderful students, parents and staff for their support of the Book Fair through their purchases. All proceeds go toward new resources for the school library.
AVID Community Service Project - Carpenter Shelter - April 1-19
This project will allow students to learn about giving back back to the community. For those who don't know, the Carpenter's Shelter here in Alexandria supports the homeless to achieve sustainable independence through shelter, guidance, education and advocacy. If you need a box, please contact Mrs. Petty.
