This is such a busy time of year for everyone and we are always so taken back when our CRUNFamily steps up for the greater good in such selfless ways. Holiday Shop was another great success. The launch of this even several years ago occurred when our incredible PTA wanted to do something to help our CRUN families in need during the holiday season. It has since remained a tradition at our school and we are so grateful to all of you for doing some of your holiday shopping with us in order to raise money for our CRUNFamily members who are experiencing struggle. A huge shout out to Megan Noraddin, Megan Stuart, Mari Diaz, Lisa McCoy our ROCKS Council students and all of the other parents who helped out volunteering their time to make this event such a success this year.
Our choir performed at the Nuggets game on Thursday night. We are so proud of Mrs. Baird and our choir for their hard work and ability to represent Cougar Run on a global stage so well. Thank you to Christine for all of her dedication to our Cougar Run singers.
Thank you also for sending in toys for the toy drive we are partnering with HRHS to do for the children who are at the Ronald McDonald houses of Denver. There has been a great contribution of toys for those sweet babies who are sick and having to be at the Ronald McDonald house right now as they work to heal. You can continue to send in toys up through next week, if you would like.
A Note From PTA
It was a great week at Cougar Run. From the success of our Holiday Shop to the toy drive for kids at the Ronald McDonald house, our Power of One is in full effect here at CRUN during this holiday season. Thank you to Megan Noraddin, Megan Stuart, Lisa McCoy and Mari Diaz for leading this event. Thank you also to the other volunteers who helped out this week at our Holiday Shop event. Our ROCKS Council students were also ROCKStars volunteering to help out at the Holiday Shop, too. It was a fantastic representation of how we as a CRUNFamily bond together to help our CRUNFamilies in need. We raised 750.00 that will be used to help out our families who need it most this time of year.

Our Building Engineer Needs Your Help
As you all know, the snow can be tricky in Colorado. When it is too light to shovel but too much to not tend to it, Jason could really use a "leaf blower/snow blower". If anyone has an old one laying around that you are no longer using, we would gladly take it off of your hands. Thank you so much for your consideration.
