    COMPASS Fund Standings!

    How far will your class go? Can you help your class get to 100% participation? Whether you can donate the suggested $500 or $5, every single dollar goes right back to supporting our wonderful scholars and school! Remember:

    • 80% participation = popsicle party
    • 100% participation = restaurant coupon
    • First class to 100% = class party!

    Will your class be the first to 100% participation? I bet it can be!

    COMPASS Fund is ending soon, so let's finish strong! Please give generously! Remember, all contributions are 100% tax-deductible AND many employers will match your donation. Check with your supervisor or Human Resources department and see about making your contribution go even further! Matching gifts are accepted year-round.

    LEVEL UP: Donation Perks

    Did you know your donation comes with perks? If you donate $350 your scholar will get to participate in a virtual Balboa Bingo and receive Balboa swag! At $500, your scholar will receive all the perks for the $350 level AND attend an afternoon movie screening! A donation of $1000 comes with all the perviously mentioned perks plus four tickets to the End-of-Year Dance, lunch with Mrs. Chun, and standard Yearbook! Let's LEVEL UP!!!

    Mark your calendars for Balboa's first Beautification Day of the year!

    On behalf of the Balboa Green Team, the BSC is excited to announce our first Balboa Greening Day of the year is taking place on Saturday, September 30!     Reminder: Announcement: Fall Festival Cancelled

    Unfortunately, the BSC has had to cancel the Fall Festival. However, stay tuned for our next event!

    Fall Lacrosse is here! Join the San Fernando Vipers today!

    1. FREE BEGINNER's CLINIC Sunday, October 1 @3pm for girls and boys 6-14 who want to try lacrosse for the first time. All necessary lacrosse equipment will be provided.
    2. FIVE WEEK INSTRUCTIONAL SERIES: For ALL Skill levels 6-14. Sundays @ 3p Staring Oct 8.
    3. FAST LAX: No helmet or pads required. Players of different ages, genders and skill levels can play together in Fastlax. We will be creating mixed teams and playing tournaments each week.
