Math Olympiad Tournament

On Saturday, our Team Alta Vista Math Olympiad students will be participating in a tournament at Dartmouth Middle School. The fun/work begins at 9:00. We wish our amazing mathematicians good luck!

Classroom Messages

Because of increasing number of phone calls being routed through the office, we need to respectfully ask that all transportation or play date arrangements be finalized prior to the start of the school day. We cannot interrupt instructional time to relay these messages to the classroom. If children are uncertain about after school plans, they should come to the office to check on the details. If there is a family emergency, please contact the office.

The NED Show

On Friday, The NED Show will be visiting Alta Vista with their entertaining and educational assembly. The NED Show is a character education program that centers around three important messages that have lifelong relevance:

  • Never give up
  • Encourage others
  • Do your best.

During the assembly, students will learn about the importance of these three life skills while also enjoying storytelling, magic, humor and yo-yo tricks.

After school on Friday, students will be able to purchase a NED Show yo-yo. Attached you will find a price sheet and information about the products.
