NEW INITIATIVES, NEW COURSES & PROGRAM MODIFICATIONS
New initiatives, new courses and program modifications are signs of on-going professional learning, continuous improvement and innovation....a great hallmark to our district. To ensure the school system continues to moves forward in an aligned and strategic way, the following tools are required steps in the process.
- New Initiatives, New Courses and Program Modifications - PROCEDURES - This document includes some background around each of these areas and the accompanying timeline to complete a proposal. It's the how-to manual to this process.
- Innovation Reflection Rubric - This tool should be utilized when a department is in the discussion/development stage of their proposal.
- Part A - This form is to be completed after the proposal has been heard and discussed at multiple levels (as explained in the timeline).
- Part B - This form is to be completed once school-board approval is received.
A temporary location on our district website but an accessible place where you can reach these documents. The team is in the process of building a T&L website....stay tuned!
