Jostens will be back on campus next Thursday, 9/26,during High School Lunch to receive orders for class rings.
Field Trip Permission Form
Please complete the Field Trip Permission Form for each 5-12 child you have. This gives permission for each field trip this year.
Children will not be allowed to attend field trips if this is not completed.
Pink/Green Out Day- Friday, September 27

*5th grade will be allowed to wear pink or green the following Monday after they return from camp.

LPS FALL CARNIVAL- Friday, September 27, 2019

The Fall Carnival is upon us and we are so excited for you to join in the FUN! We have some exciting NEW games we think you’ll enjoy as well as returning favorites. This is a great time for the whole family (grandparents, siblings, and friends).
This year our Carnival starts at 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the Secondary Campus on Friday, September 27th, 2019.
Looking for ways to support our Fall Carnival? We have several opportunities.
Volunteer! Parent volunteers are needed before the carnival at 1 pm to help set up and after to help clean up at 6:30 pm. Please sign up through the Sign Up Genius at the following link. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0D4EAFAC2CA20-donations

Participate as a Sponsor! Have a business you want to promote, consider sponsoring a booth at Carnival. We have 4 different levels for Sponsorships; Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Our Bronze level is exclusive to our PTO family. See attached Sponsor Application. You can also donate a basket or items for our Silent Auction. Please use the Donation Form attached.
Food! Visit www.lionspridePTO.com to purchase your Meal for $6. Meal includes chips, beverage and these choices (Chick Fil A Chicken Sandwich, Cheeseburger, Hamburger, and Grilled Cheese). Purchase your meal by Wednesday, September 25th, this way you are guaranteed a meal at Carnival!
Tickets! You can also pre order your tickets for Carnival at www.lionspridePTO.com. For every 20 tickets purchased you’ll receive 5 FREE bonus tickets (available to pre orders only). We now accept direct credit card transactions and PayPal on our website. Purchase by Wednesday, September 25th.

Student Activity Fees
The student activity fee information is here for your information. The due date is October 11, 2019.

- Other fees for Art, Band, and Graduation will be loaded in the next week as well.

- If you paid via cash or check before August 19th to receive the discount, your MSB account will be credited as they process those.
After School Care
Does your student need after school care, regular help with homework, or time to hang out with friends before you pick them up? We have a new program for Secondary students called After Hours Student Enrichment that might meet your needs! After Hours provides a supervised setting for our Secondary students from 4 to 6 pm right on our campus. This is being offered at $10 per day, you pay only for the days you use, we are flexible around sports practices, or other after school commitments. There is drop-in availability as well for those times when something comes up and you can’t get to school on time for pick up. Basketball Skills Sessions
LPS Basketball team in the Fall?
We will be offering basketball skills sessions every Sunday throughout the school year.
Location: LPS Secondary Campus Gym
Girls sessions 7:00pm-8:15pm
Boys sessions 7:00pm-8:15pm
It will include all necessary drills to prepare them for tryouts, as well as actual game experience.
Please bring a basketball and water.

LPS School Board Meeting

The meeting will be on the secondary campus in room 135/136. Please come in through the south west doors where the picnic tables are located.

If you would like to address the Board, please the click link below with your name and agenda item(s). Please note that the Board will go into closed session immediately after Board meeting is called to order at 7:00 PM CDT. The Board will return to open meeting at approximately 7:45 PM CDT.
Any stakeholder can come and speak to the Board during the Public Comment time of each regular meeting of the Board. For the most part, this allows for someone to have five minutes to share information or concerns with the Board. The Board cannot deliberate or take action on a topic that may be introduced, but can ask clarifying questions. If you wish to address the Board, please sign-up through this link provided no later than 5 PM on the date of the regular Board meeting.
