Stateside Scoop

Week of December 14th-18th

What is going on this week at Stateside?

It's beginning to sound a lot like the holidays at Stateside! Mr. C and the singing Patriots are in full swing this week with the start of concert season.

Stateside Inaugural Angel Tree UPDATE

Many thanks to all families who have participated with the Angel Tree this year. We appreciate you and can see the huge impact you will have on our Patriot families this holiday season.

Angel tree items are due Tuesday, December 15th. A HUGE thank you goes to those who helped by adopting a member of a fellow Stateside family. Because of Patriots helping Patriots we were able to help 24 families and over 100 children have a wonderful Christmas. We could not have done it without your support. THANK YOU!

Kindergarten Legacy Tree - Ornaments needed UPDATE!!!

Keep sending in those ornaments...the tree is starting to look fantastic! We are adding them as they are arriving. Please remember to label them with your students name.

Look below for what the Legacy looks like so far.... (and yes...more ornaments were added after the picture was snapped :) )

Student belongings....

Due to the fact that we will be leaving the building for two weeks over the holiday break, please remind your Patriots to bring home all coats, lunchboxes, and any other belongings by weeks end. Over break would be a great time to give coats, hats, and gloves a washing before sending back in the new year. Be on the lookout for teachers sending home tons of paperwork after cleaning out desks and cubbies.

We will also be taking all LOST and FOUND items out of the building on Friday afternoon. Please remind your Patriots to look there (in the multipurpose room) if they are missing something.

Parent workshop available!

Would you like to learn ways in which you can support your child? If so, then you’ll want to attend one of the informative workshops on December 17th. We’ll be experiencing ways in which you can help your child grow as a reader. You’ll also have the opportunity to share your thoughts about future sessions. We hope to see you there! Please use the RSVP google doc below to submit your response if you would like to attend so we may prepare materials.
