Reflections
Thank you all for an amazing year. We have made great progress in Reading and Writing! Our scores have doubled from last year. Our English Language Learners made exceptional progress in English this year. Our teaching staff is dedicated and hard working. Parent leadership and participation is increasing and our Family Resource Center offers services and classes to meet family needs. El Verano is an exceptional place to work and learn. and inclusion
in our schools and community!
Goal of Task Force: The Equity and Inclusion Task Force (EAITF) will bring together parents, educators, and community members from various backgrounds to examine current Sonoma Valley School District policies and practices. The Task Force’s focus will be on diversity and equity programming, practices, and policy. Additionally, the EAITF will consider local and national trends in policies and education on matters of diversity and inclusion for recommendations to the school district.

The Masons of Temple Lodge #14 Free & Accepted Masons in Sonoma are inviting you to join in celebrating this April as Public Schools Month by participating in the David Reber Memorial Teacher Of The Year Program.
Now in its 16th year, the Teacher of the Year award was created to honor an outstanding teacher in our community who:
+ Inspires students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn
+ Has the respect and admiration of students, parents, and colleagues
+ Plays an active and useful role in the community as well as in the school
+ Is an exceptionally dedicated, knowledgeable, and skilled teacher
