Miss Delgado's Classroom
A look inside our everyday lives.
About me.
I am a graduate of the University of Houston. I absolutely love my job! I know that I am here to teach children and I am so open minded and willing to learn from your children as well. My goal in life is to inspire children to be their best and to never allow any one thing to define them. I understand that not all children learn at the same pace, but I also understand that all children have the potential to be extraordinary. My job as their teacher is to build their self esteem and help them reach their full potential. I had a handful of teachers who helped me believe in myself and become the confident teacher that I am today, and I want to be that teacher for your student.

What's Going on This Week
Here I will post what our students main focus for the week will be. This week we will be focusing on being able to retell a story that we have read in class. We will be reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and using story cards to retell the main events of the story. By the end of the week your child will be coming home with a wordless picture book that they have created in class. Please use this created book to allow your child to retell the story to you, you may prompt them as needed by as saying, "What happens next?" if they seem to get stuck on a page. This will be updated as needed.
