March 30 - April 2
Spring Break is Next Week!
News This Week
Recycling Project
If your child made a recycling project, please return it on or before April 1 so that we will have time to share them. The kids seem really excited about this!
Eggs
We will be doing some fun egg-themed activities this week, but first grade does not have an "Easter party" or egg hunt. We will learn about the history of the Presidential Egg Roll and the parts of an egg, along with some fun activities.
Thursday
Thursday will be a busy day for us - we are going skating in the morning and then we will have some egg relay races in the afternoon. Our class will take spelling and grammar tests only this week (no reading test) on Thursday.
Skate Day
Skate Day is Thursday. We will leave at 8:00. The cost is $5.00 and must be paid before Thursday with the signed permission slip. Students can take extra money for snacks and games if you choose. We will return to school by approximately 10.
