Welcome to the Trice Family
Christy Rybiski- 3rd grade literacy and social studies
I have a BBA in Marketing from Henderson State ans was an independent health/life insurance agent with Barry insurance for 18 years. I decided to follow my heart, retired from my insurance career, and got my alternative certification to teach after my kids graduated high school. Best decision ever. This will be my eighth year, 6th with TASD. Prior to Trice I've taught at CHMS and NHJH.
I am a team player, rule follower, enjoy collaboration and planning, and sometimes I'm a little bit loud and rowdy. I love kids, learning new things, and coffee...like seriously love coffee!!!
Marci Clinton--School Counselor
My name is Marci Clinton and I am so excited to become a part of the Trice family. My husband, Mike, and I have three awesome boys Kade, Reese, and Tucker. Our younger boys, Reese and Tucker, will be joining me at Trice in the 3rd and 4th grade. I have enjoyed teaching art for the past 10 years and I am truly inspired by what Trice is offering to our students. I look forward to meeting each of you and getting a great start to what will be a wonderful school year.
P.S. There is no relation to Bill or Hilary.

Staff Attendance Report
For the 2017-2018 School year we missed a total of 664 days.
Friday was the most requested day off with 28.9% of time being used.
We are focusing on attendance this year for both student and staff. Remember that if you are needing to take a personal day then you must have your request in 24 hours prior to the day being requested. Personal days must be approved by the principal before a substitute can be assigned the date. To use sick leave you must have an illness, doctors appointment, taking an immediate family member to an appointment, or caring for a sick immediate family member.
What are you reading?
This summer, my friends and I read "Girl Wash Your Face" by Rachel Hollis. This book is about how to set yourself free from the lies you tell yourself. The author has a great sense of humor and dispels all the myths of being a career minded woman, mother, stay at home mom, wife or partner through her own life experiences. She also shares stories from other "regular" women just like you and I. One "take away" I found in this book is not to compare my starting point to someone else's middle. When we start something like a fitness program we often compare ourselves to someone else who is already doing it. We tell ourselves "I will never be able to do what she does." That's not fair to us because we are comparing someone's "middle" to our start. We should set our own goals and work to achieve them every day.
If anyone would like to borrow the book just let me know.
