Producing their clothing in extremely limited quantities, while having a high demand and desire by the masses, Bape has been a giant success since its founding in Tokyo, Japan in 1983, and is still growing today.
Since the get-go, Bape has collaborated with well known celebrities and music artists, including Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Wiz Khalifa, and much more. The brand utilizes its popularity with the rich and famous to advertise themselves. For example: the current face of the company is the well known music artist and dancer; Chris Brown.
Similar to Bape, Supreme produces in extremely limited quantities, with a huge demand and desire by teens, adults, the rich, and the famous all alike.
Though Supreme does not focus on its advertising much, its popularity and desire grows tremendously year by year.
The brand's popularity is so widespread that customers regularly camp out and lineup days in advance outside their flagship stores for their clothing releases; there have even been fights and police shutdowns due to these lines.
Since the 70's till now, Nike has been collaborating with brands and celebrities.
