Makerspace!
Don't forget -- every Monday - we will have Makerspace going on in the LC! This is a time for your class to be creative, problem solve, and collaborate! If you want to sign up, please do so on MONDAYS on the following calendar:

You may also use this calendar to sign up for chromebook carts, LC lessons, and lab time.
Intervention/Extensions
Interventions are going well - it is so nice to work with many grade levels on STEM activities. We are building structures with straws and paperclips, as well as helicopters with index cards - all the while talking about science and engineering concepts. Most of all, the students are having a blast using their noggins to figure out problems!!
Dr. Seuss - Read Across America Week!
This year, instead of just celebrating Dr. Seuss for one day, we are dedicating an entire week to his legacy and great stories!! Please see above for our activities for the week!! We will have activities going on in the Learning Commons each day - look for more specifics as we get closer to the end of the month!
Apple TV's
You should have an apple tv hooked up in your room now - you may be wondering how to get it working. I would be more than happy to come show you - just let me know. Here are a few helpful steps.
1. Change the source to HDMI using your projector remote
2. Use the Apple TV remote to make sure it is on
3. When you have an iPad, swipe up from the bottom
4. Go to AirPlay
5. Search for your room number, select it
6. Type in the number code that is showing on your smartboard onto the iPad
7. Slide the button on the iPad where it says "mirror"
8. You should be good to go :)
