Enrollment Portal for the 2023-2024 school year is open | Kindergarten Information All FCPS kindergarten programs are full day, most starting at 9 a.m. and dismissing around 3:30 p.m. To enter kindergarten in August, a child must turn 5 years old on or before September 1 of that calendar year. Children entering first grade must have completed public kindergarten or have been approved for entry by FCPS. Whenever possible, parents are encouraged to register their children well in advance of the first day of school so that schools and teachers are prepared to accommodate enrollment. | Pre-K Applications being accepted. This gives the school staff time to prepare the teacher, the scholar, and staff of the change before dismissal begins. | To register and complete training as FCPS volunteers, please go to the FCPS Volunteer Center: https://fcps-volunteers.ezcommunicator.net/edu/fcps-volunteers/login_form.aspx?app=0 The training only needs to be completed once for this school year. Please complete the training at least 5 days before the event so that you may be cleared. If the training is not completed you will not be able to volunteer or be permitted beyond the front office for the safety of our scholars.
