why do cats land on there feet
By: Karma Davis!!!!!
Can they get injured
Falling cats do sometimes suffer in injuries and not all cats survives falls. But sometimes they don't get injured because they have reflexes.
Why they do it
Wats make it look so easy leaping or falling off a high shelf only to land gracefully there four feet. All big animals have very fast systems of nerves called reflexes.
the small answer!
If you had four feet wouldn't you try to land on them in fact, the science behind how cats land on there feet is very complex. One of these reflex systems works to balance the body. Cats have any unusual good balancing reflex.
Did you know that cats spend two thirds of the day sleeping. So that means a nine year old cat has only been awake for 3-years
