Dear Families,
Thank you for your support with supply pick-up last Friday. We were excited to see so many families come to get supplies despite the cold temperatures. Your efforts in continually supporting the educational process do not go unnoticed.
Please note that our newsletter will now be published every two weeks. While we strive to include all important information here, please continue to also check Seesaw postings for additional information requiring immediate release.
School District 104 in compliance with state of Illinois legislation will educate all students on Erin's Law. Our social work team uses age-appropriate lessons to teach students about sexual abuse. All parents need to complete a permission slip for this presentation by February 12. Please review the information shared below.

February is Black History Month
From SD 104 Nursing Staff-Mobile Dental Care
We are excited to offer no-cost dental care for all of our District 104 students. The mobile dental bus will be taking walk-ins from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm on Feb 16, 17, 18 and 19 through a non-profit organization called Mobile Care Chicago. The mobile unit will be parked at the Heritage Middle School parking lot, near door seven.
Mobile Care’s dental clinic provides free cleanings, fillings, and follow-up care that fulfills our school’s dental exam requirements. No insurance required. All district students are eligible for free dental services. First come first serve.
The dental clinic also has updated safety features that exceed national guidelines to prevent the spread of germs and illnesses. For more information go to www.mobilecarechicago.org .
All students must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Dental treatment form will need to completed onsite before they can be seen.
Please note: The school building is not open to the public at this time. Please expect to wait in your car or outside. Dress for the weather. Visits take approximately 10 minutes.
Estamos encantados de ofrecer atención dental sin costo para todos nuestros estudiantes del distrito 104. El autobús dental móvil acepta sin cita previa y estará en el estacionamiento de la escuela Heritage, fuera del gimnasio. Número de puerta 7 de 8:30 am a 1:00 pm el 16, 17, 18 y 19 de febrero a través de una organización sin fines de lucro llamada Mobile Care Chicago.
