Principal's Corner
One of the most important aspects of a students school experience is learning how to interact appropriately with all types of personalities. As you well know, there are always some people who present social challenges in every setting. Our entire staff work at helping students navigate these murky waters daily. In addition, we have a full time Behavior Interventionist, Counselor and three playground supervisors that work diligently at helping your child overcome obstacles of feeling ostracized, overwhelmed or picked on. Our goal is to help each child make progress toward being a successful and happy adolescent.
We have a new Character Education program which will have our entire staff focusing on one trait a month. At the end of each quarter, we will honor a student from each classroom who exemplifies that trait. By having our entire community, including parents who use our flyers that we send home, we are hoping to really impact how students perceive good character!
Always know that my door is open to listen to any concerns or celebrations that you would like to share.
