The purpose of the Ferson Creek Elementary Parent Teacher Organization is to enhance the curricular and extracurricular educational experience of all children and to support programs which would otherwise not be offered by providing necessary funding, volunteers and materials to teachers, students and the school.

The PTO is comprised of 3-8 elected Board Officer positions in addition to Ex Officio Board Members, dozens of non-elected committee chairs, and numerous volunteers. For the 2022-2023 school year, we are electing the Board Officers.

This year's Board Officers are working together as a team to help the PTO run efficiently and smoothly. To fulfill the IRS requirements for a 501(c)3, these officers will include position titles, such as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer; however, this year's nominated officers have chosen to work collaboratively, regardless titled positions.

Please cast your vote below for the PTO Board Officers for the 2022-2023 school year. Voting is open to any Ferson Creek parent, guardian, or staff member. Anyone that does not vote will be considered to have an abstained ballot.

Ballots must be submitted before May 26, 2022 at midnight.

This year instead of Field Day, we will be having LAMPE Day on Monday, May 23rd! LAMPE day is a collaboration amongst all of our specials teachers...LRC/Art/Music/PE/Empower. They have created a schedule of fun activities for all of our students that will celebrate our year of learning in these content areas. In order to make this day a success, we are looking for parent volunteers to help run stations and supervise students. If you are interested in helping out, please sign up here. Volunteers will need to check in at the front office with their drivers license. Additionally all volunteers are still required to show proof of covid vaccination or a negative covid test. We are so excited to have such a fun day with our students!

The instruments of the band are - flute, oboe, clarinet, alto sax, trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone, tuba and percussion.

We've already had multiple bee stings this spring. In order to help us prevent bee stings, it is suggested that students wear wear light-colored clothing and avoid perfumed lotions, soaps, shampoos and deodorants.
