WHAT IS A COMBAT ENGINEER?
Also called an "Engineer Pioneer" or "Sapper" in other Armies, a Combat Engineer is the person who does all the dirty work during combat, planting and detonating explosives. They supervise or assist a group of members tackling through tough terrain. Create weapons and guns for army.

Combat engineers protect a team by searching for bombs and clearing the way for combat. They break down obstacles and before combat, they plant explosives.
Training
Combat engineers have 14 weeks of one station unit training, basic demolition, explosive hazard, building and rebuilding, and basic urban operations.
