2016 association survey released
Minnesota based MicroNet, Inc. recently announced the release of the 2016 Association Industry Survey Results.
Participants were surveyed about everything from Association operations and policies to marketing plans and revenue goals for 2016. Survey results include details on how organizations use social media, manage interns, and determine membership dues structure.
“The results indicate a positive outlook for organizations regarding membership growth. Additionally, key findings reveal a common goal by Associations to streamline their technological efficiency, improve revenue, and recruit younger members,” shared John Cook, Vice President of Marketing.
Results can be accessed on MemberZone.com.
What can I shred?
Martha Nepa, CPA, JD, shown above with WVSAE President Traci Nelson, kept us from getting shredded by failing to maintain legal and financial documents for the right amount of time. She had advice for both individuals and organizations on what to keep and how long to keep it. Nepa prepared a handout for easy reference; to get a copy, contact her at mmnepa@jacksonkelly.com.
Thanks go to Todd Tinney and his Distinctive Gourmet staff for focusing their menu on our theme of shredding! Thanks, as well, to John Robertson for donating a door prize of two tickets to the upcoming Dolly Parton concert. Julie Caldwell was the lucky winner!
Are you protected?
Join us for the June 7 meeting at the Capitol Conference Center when Patrick Kelly of the West Virginia Health Care Association (WVHCA) will share information to help you protect yourself and your family.
This program will be great for anyone with aging parents, children or grandchildren. You'll learn to protect yourself and your family by using living wills, medical powers of attorney, durable powers of attorney and resources available at the Center for End of Life Care.
