Feedback from ESC2 on PBIS Work
Her feedback, overall, was positive. She did comment that we need to do a better job of giving immediate praise and that it be specific regarding the reason for praise. For example, "Great job! I love not only the way you returned your materials, but that you took a moment to straighten up the area. Thank you!" Or, "Great job assisting your classmates. That showed respect for your peers."
Let's please keep this in mind. The more we can reference our classroom rules and PBIS goals (Safe, Respectful, Responsible, and Successful), the more these will be internalized.
Thanks!

TTESS Goals
Mark Your Calendar:
For the Student-Led Conferences:
•Have them practice with one another so they know what they are expected to do
•Have students chart their progress using their grades for each six week grading period
•Have students list their goals for the remainder of the year and next year
•Have them write a reflection essay on their effort/work this year
You can also have a flyer to hand out which lists tutoring and STAAR interventions opportunities.
