Starry, Starry Night

With the cold clear weather in the mornings, we have had several starry evenings this week. Some of the stars are in the sky but many are here in Norwood. On Wednesday night, Mr. Martin and Ms. Manning hosted National History Day parent night. Students presented the projects they have been working on this fall. There was a variety of displays, reports, and documentaries. The level of in depth research, and professional display was astounding! Many of the documentaries were equal to a PBS Ken Burns classic! All will be submitted to the state competition - very exciting!

Thursday night brings the All Town Orchestra concert. Similar to last week, we saw all three levels of orchestra performance. It was a great night and a wonderful performance.

During the school day has been equally exciting. On Twitter, you may have seen our seventh grade students taking a virtual trip to Africa. Check out the school news for more information on their amazing trip!

As we head into February, stay warm and have a great weekend! In the immortal words of Tom Brady "Let's Gooooooooo"! Good Luck Patriots!

Chromebook Tips Update

  • Remind students that NOTHING should be stored inside their Chromebook case (except their Chromebook) when they close it with other items inside, it cracks the screen.
  • Try to keep the battery level above 10% dropping below can cause a hard shut down which can be difficult to restart and recharge.
  • Bring those earbuds!
  • Charge EVERY night!
