The Beginning
Francisco De Coronado was born in Salamanaca, Spain. When he was 25, he went to Mexico. He married the daughter of New Spain's treasurer. Coronado also became governor of a Mexican province. When Spanish rulers heard about the "golden cities" he was chosen to lead the search of the "golden cities".

What Happend
The "Golden Cities"
When they came back, they came with less men and no gold or treasure. He had search parties go out and look for gold. All they found was a indian who told them about Quivira, they called this man" the Turk". They set out to find this land but they found no gold. It turns out "the Turk" was lying. This search was a complete fail.
