Future Health Promoters

Come out to support The Future Health Promoter's Club's 5k to support Oasis tutoring. We will be using the funds to buy the kids in the Oasis community toys and winter essentials for the holidays. It is HIGHLY encouraged to wear tacky holiday attire to run on the offical UGA 5k course. The start time will begin prompty at 8:30 and will be lead by a UGA police officer. There are long sleeve t-shirts avialble but it is not required to purchase one to participate in the race. The price without a t-shirt is $10 and the price including the shirt is $25. Pop Up Watch Party

Join us TODAY from 6pm-9pm for a Pop Up Watch Party! We will be screening the live streaming of "24 Hours of Reality." Live from Miami, this portion of the video focuses on the United States, Caribbean, and Mexico. The theme of this portion is "Leadership responding to the need for a clean energy economy." Join us and learn more about the reality of climate change. Join the millions watching around the world, demanding action together. Seriously. It's a big deal. Check out the Facebook event here! Pecan Sale End TODAY
The Environmental Health Science Club is selling fresh, Georgia grown, Schermer pecans this fall season. They are perfect for baking, snacking, and make wonderful holiday gifts. Ordering Schermer pecans from the Environmental Health Science Club helps fund our club activities and raises money for our end of the year banquet.

An order form is attached by clicking here. Each bag of pecans is only $9.50. Please drop of all order forms and payments to Victoria Pope in room 205 of the Environmental Health Science building by Friday, November 13th. We thank you for your support.

International Education Week

Please see attached information regarding International Education Week events. IEW begins Monday, November 16th, and runs through Friday, November 20th. Please join us and attend any of the events we have planned. The events website is

Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP)

Chief Stallings, US Navy recruiter, will be on campus November 19 from 12-2:00 in room 116 Memorial Hall to answer any questions you may have. See the attached document. This is an educational support program for individuals pursuing graduate degrees in professional medical programs and who have a desire to serve in the US Navy following graduation. No sign-up required. Just walk-in.
