Titan Families,
This week we have our lost and found in the vestibule area of our school. Many thanks to our PTA member, Ms. Beth Revere, for willing to showcase those items for our families to sort through. Please be sure to swing by and check it out before we head out for spring break. Whatever is not claimed will be donated.
We also get to celebrate our Licensed Specialist in School Pathology (LSSP), Ms. Alicia Wilson, this week! LSSPs usually cover a lot of areas with their evaluations and services. After all, the job of a LSSP is diverse, taking a range of student experiences into account. Typically, LSSPs do records reviews, interview both parents and teachers, and have direct observations of students. They do cognitive assessments of students and look at academic achievement. They also look at adaptive abilities and do behavioral assessments. Help us in celebrating Ms. Wilson this week!
Lastly, be sure to wear your Titan Tuesday and C2 Wednesday shirts this week so that Ms. Tina Stevens, PTA's yearbook representative, can take some pictures for our yearbook.
AND
Be sure to fill out the parent survey that was sent to you by the district. More information below. We only have 2% of our families who have responded. This is due March 19th, and we need you input to grow our understanding of how to serve our community. Thanks!
As always, stay in the know by reading the information enclosed here and in your Titan(s)'s teacher(s)'s newsletter. Should you need anything, please reach out. Let's make it a great week of building and showing PRIDE in all we do as we launch spring break!
Take care and be well,
Dr. Amy Sharp
Proud RPE Principal

TITAN COMMUNITY NEWS
Student Experience & School Climate Survey
We invite our students and families to share their student experience and school climate this year. Leander ISD is partnering with K12Insights to help us collect your feedback. The results of this survey will provide critical evidence of progress for our LISD Strategic Plan, Campus and District Improvement Plans, and our Community-based Accountability System (CBAS). They will be used by campus and district leaders to guide our ongoing improvement efforts.
The LISD Student Experience/Climate Surveys for students (grades 3 - 12) and parents will be open from Feb. 22 to Mar. 19.
Preview the surveys (Note - you will not be able to take the survey from these links):
How will surveys be administered?
Parents will receive an email with a link to the electronic survey from K12Insights. Link to Parent Survey
Elementary Students (grades 3-5) will have the opportunity to participate in the survey during the school day. Students will log into the survey from a landing page provided by their teacher. Link to Elementary Student Survey

Dads (or those with influence over them!) …River Place Elementary would love your help on the following days:
- March 21
- April 7,14, and 28
- May 5, 12 and 17
The WatchDOGS volunteer program is open for the spring semester. This is a full school day commitment to make a difference, meet the teachers and staff and get a good look at what your kids are doing every day. Memories will be made, kids will never forget, and the faculty will be grateful. We’d love to have you join us!
If you have any questions about the program please call or text Cuyler Owens at 512-483-1589. He has been volunteering over the last 10 years to support his 3 kids and has agreed to be the point of contact for any questions.
If you would like to be a Watch D.O.G., follow these simple steps:
Read through the expectations and sample schedule
If you have not done so already, register as a Leander ISD Volunteer
Marc Grace will contact you one week before your volunteer day with more detailed information.
Thank you to the volunteers that pitched in during the first half of the year and thank you for your feedback to make our program even better!
