Review
I really enjoy when books have a suspense content but they also have to know how to use it right. I think the suspense content was used perfectly in this book. As soon as Vincent's character is introduced in this book, the reader can automatically tell that he is trouble. Vincent's character is introduced in this book as the "new guest" that manipulates Cynda by taking advantage of her inability to fit in to her fathers new family and her need for attention from her father. The whole time the reader is asking the question like :"Why is Cynda not noticing that Vincent is trouble despite her stepbrother's claims that he is?", "Why doesn't Cynda's father care about her unhealthy relationship with Vincent (who is way older)?", and "Why isn't Cynda smart enough to realize that Vincent is the unknown murder that has been on the lose?". I tend to enjoy books that have me asking questions and wanting to finish so I can figure out the resolution. I think we all have been manipulated and used for someones own good at least once in our life. Seeing how Cynda falls into Vincent's trap and lets him use her insecurities against her to "enchant" her, helps me relate to the feelings of Cynda in this book since I know I have been manipulated by my siblings before. I tend to enjoy books more if I can relate and really understand the feelings of the characters in the story. If you enjoy a excellent ghost, vampire, suspense, and creepy story then Look for by Moonlight is the book for you.
