SETTLE YOUR CASE ON TV
FOR $$$$
Currently involved in a small claims dispute? Interested in settling out of court? Wanna get paid to do it?
A Toronto-based production company is currently casting REAL people with REAL cases to appear on a not-for-broadcast demo for a television series, and have their dispute settled by our arbitrator at his sole discretion – in other words, traditional legal rules don't apply here.
Candidates must be at least 19 years of age, comfortable on camera*, passionate about their case and live in the Greater Toronto Area or a neighbouring city.
Chosen participants must be available for an entire day of shooting, and are responsible for their own transportation. The projected shoot date is July 4th (subject to change).
To be considered for the show, both sides must agree to appear on the demo. Upon completion of the shoot, each party will receive an appearance fee of $200 and the production will pay the amount of the “judgment” owed to the winning litigant (up to $1000).
*Please note that only non-ACTRA applicants will be considered for the show.
