The Fray - How To save a life Lyric's + Deutsche Übersetzung (:
How to Save A Life - The Fray
I made a connection with the song How to Save A Life by The Fray to the book The Outsiders. I think this song kind of represents when Johnny and Ponyboy had saved the lives of the helpless children in the burning church.
Goodbye (I'm Sorry) - Jamestown Story [with lyrics]
Goodbye (I'm Sorry) - Jamestown Story
The song Goodbye (I'm Sorry) by Jamestown Story was a song that reminded me the most of Dally. This song is about people who are going through depression and who are suicidal, which reminded me of when Johnny died, and Dally went through this depression and suicidal phase were it went to a point were he set himself up to be killed by police. Dally obviously planned it, and knew what was going to happen to himself, but he went along with it anyway because he didn't fell as if there was nothing to live for anymore.
Hold On We're Going Home by Drake (Clean)
Hold On (We're Going Home) - Drake
Whenever i hear the song Hold On (We're Going Home) by Drake it made me think of The Outsiders. The reason behind that is because it made me think of when Johnny and Ponyboy were finally ready to go home, and Dally was taking them home.
I miss you - Miley Cyrus
I miss you - Miley Cyrus
When making a connection I Miss You by Miley Cyrus to The Outsiders, it could go a few ways. One way to see a connection between the two, is seeing how much Ponyboy misses his parents. He makes a lot of references to his parents, saying how they were such great people before they passed away. Another way to see it is how much the boys miss Johnny and Dally. The boys are obviously heartbroken because of the loss of their two closest friends, because they don't seem as energetic, or happy before. They feel as if someone took a piece of them away.
Don't Forget - Demi Lovato with lyrics!
Don't Forget - Demi Lovato
My last reference to a song that can be connected to The Outsiders is Don't Forget by Demi Lovato. This song makes a great connection to how Ponyboy was feeling when him and Johnnythey running away. Ponyboy was wondering if his brother Darry would even care if he was gone, since Darry treated him so badly. Ponyboy didn't know if Darry loved him, or cared for him as much as Darry loved and cared for Soda.
