September Principal's News and Highlights

Each month I will post this newsletter to the school website and will send the link to it in an email. The letter will contain highlights from each month, as well as important information and reminders.

Happenings in Jr High Science

7th and 8th grade science students are applying their knowledge of the Scientific Method by testing candies for possible different melting rates.

Fair Week a Big Success for Centreville Jr/Sr High School Students

Despite the intense heat, our students found great success at the fair this year. Many awards were given and much fun was had. Even I had a great time representing our school district in the pie eating contest. Sadly, I did not win the competition, but through Friday's Hat Day fundraiser we raised $130 for the Centreville FFA Alumni Association! I know many of you enjoyed watching me smash my face into the apple pie. Thanks for your support and congrats to all our students who worked so hard through their participation in this year's fair.
