Note from Mr. Williamson regarding the Digital Learning Day on March 9th
Due to us missing several days to inclement weather, our school district has decided to utilize Friday, March 9, 2018 as a Digital Learning day. While this day will serve as a make-up day for one of the inclement weather days, it will also serve as a pilot as to how we can better leverage our technology should we have future school closings. In the next two weeks, your child’s teacher will be sharing the plan on work which will be expected to be completed over the following weekend.
From the Digital Learning Day, we hope to gather feedback from our teachers on how they will leverage their technology to instruct and engage their students in a meaningful learning experience should school be canceled for any reason. We realize that our Digital Learning Day is planned, and therefore students will have the opportunity to utilize our Digital Learning Day on Friday, March 9, in addition to the rest of the weekend to complete their work. Assignments for the Digital Learning will be expected to be completed by Wednesday, March 14.
We will work with your child’s teacher to communicate the assignment and how it will be available to your child - a good resource would be the teacher Notebook links found on our directory page here. Digital Day assignments should be available to you by Thursday, March 8.
The time commitment for the Digital Learning Day should be no more than 25 minutes per class. Students can get help from teachers by emailing them during their virtual office hours on March 9 -- from 10 AM to 12 PM. Some teachers may also offer time in the afternoon, and teachers will also be available the following Monday and Tuesday to answer questions.
All questions regarding the Digital Learning Day should be directed to your child’s teacher.
Thanks for supporting TRMS!

Fulton County Policy – Student Illness
Flu season is in full swing, and we need you to be aware of an important Fulton County health policay!
STUDENTS MUST STAY HOME
Students who are sick, have a fever over 100.4 may have a contagious illness and MUST NOT be sent to school and will not be permitted to remain at school. In order to return to school, a student should be free of fever, vomiting and diarrhea for at least 24 hours, and not require medication to reduce fever.
