At the foundation of these practices are the adults who manage the classroom. The adults' clear and predictable patterns assist in creating a safe learning environment where students are free to develop and grow into productive citizens. This newsletter will focus on some tier 1 strategies that are basic expectations to any I-SS classroom. Exemplars that are working in the Pressly environment are included along with who is using the tools so you have someone to collaborate with should you choose to research any of these tools.
