Star of the Week
Let me take the time to introduce myself to you. My name is Miss Nordby and I will be your child's teacher this year. I grew up in Trumbull and went to Hastings College for my undergraduate degree. I am currently working on my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Curriculum Effectiveness from UNK. This is my 18th year of teaching and my 10th year with Adams Central. I have one child, Nathan who will be an 8th grader this year at HMS. In my spare time, I enjoy watching baseball and hanging out with my family. I have taught all the elementary grades except 6th, but 3rd grade has been my favorite.
Week At A Glance
This first week of school will be filled with many activities to help us learn our daily routines. Remember, we will NOT have school on Friday, August 15, 2015.

Book Recommendations
Each week, children will be given the opportunity to turn in a summary of a book book they would recommend their peers reading. I will post 2 book summaries each week. This will allow book conversations to take place throughout the year and will give everyone better opportunities to find super reading material.
