Time To Learn
September is an exciting time for learning in fourth grade! We will get the chance to explore more about the world around us. As readers, we will be learning and practicing how to read intensively. In writing, we will continue to work on writing narrative pieces. As mathematicians, we will continue to investigate place value and examining multi-digit addition and subtract. For science, students will become scientists and engineers as they use the scientific method and engineering design process to solve problems from the world around them.
This week and next week, MAP testing will take place. Please note the dates for MAP testing for our class below. Make sure your student gets a good nights rest before the test so that they can do their their best on the test. Also, check out our classroom website for updates and other resources to help your student learn.
