Saturn and Earth
By: Clayton Moore
Saturn
Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun. Its the second largest planet in our soar system. Saturn is mostly made of Hydrogen and Helium. Saturn is big enough to hold 760 Earths. Saturn will float if its placed in a big enough body of water to hold it. Saturn's magnetic field is about 578 times more powerful than Earths.
Earth
Earth is the third planet from the sun. Its the largest out of all the terrestrial planets. Earth was approximately formed 4.54 billion years ago. The four seasons are a result of Earths axis being tilted more than 23 degrees. Earth is the only known planet to support life. Its orbit period is 365.26 days, which is a year. Earths magnetic field protects it from solar winds.
Saturn's Moons
Saturn has a total of 53 moons.
Earth and Moon
Earth only has 1 moon. The distance between Earth and the moon is 238,900 miles, which is 384,400 km.
Earth and Saturn
Saturn and Earth are completely different in a lot of ways. The biggest would be the size. Earths radius is 3,959 miles. Saturn's radius is 36,184 miles.
Saturn's Ring
The Rings
There are several of Saturn's rings. They are all different from each other and spaced out.
Solar System
Saturn is the 6th closest to the sun.
