Items to keep in mind during the weeks of 8/27-9/7:
- I hope everyone had a great weekend! The steamy weather was a change compared to the nice temperatures of last week. Hopefully it will cool off a bit this week. Please welcome Mrs. Babb as our sub in Mrs. Brazeal's room for the next few weeks. Yvonne will be out for a few weeks, but her students are in great hands with Mrs. Babb.
- Looking for a SPIRIT Committee representative, Mrs. Clonts has requested to step down. Dues are $5 for traveling people and $10 for building staff. Please see Emily if you would like to know more about it.
- Great job on two of our four drills thus far! We will hold the fire and intruder drill on Sept 6 in the AM with Deputy Nanney.
- Leadership Meeting will be held on September 11 at 7:20 in Baileigh's room.
- Don't forget to complete your MUSIC videos, due September 14. BOE Policy needs to be turned into Holly too, policies are in the lounge if you need a copy.
- Benchmark Screenings Window-August 27-September 8. Please use this time to screen students in STAR Reading and Math and PTR. Helen will screen all new students to the district. We will also add the DRA to this list but will have some extended time to complete. More info at our meeting on Friday.
- Let's plan on Thursday having an assembly-- 7:40, Lunch counts and attendance will be due by 8:10. I need to leave at 2:30 on Thursday for a DR appt.
- Tuesday, August 28-Vision and Hearing Screenings in the PM in Ms. Cathy's room Kids Korner-on the 29th they will be here in the AM.
- Boy Scouts will be around the room on Tuesday 8/28 starting at 1:30.
- Picture Day is ALSO 8/28 starting at 8am.
- Friday 8/31 is a Home Football Game, this is also a PD day for us. If you need childcare sign up on the form Mrs. Deupner sent.
- Mrs. Krusemark will have choir tryouts during Grandparents Day; a time will be sent to the those students and teachers.
- Character Council applications are due this THURSDAY.
- If you have board games you can donate to Grandparents Day please email me. I would like to make sure we have plenty of board games to play.
- IEP Meetings will be held in the Library when they in the am, pm meetings will be held in Bequette's room.
- Please note if you have an A+ tutor, they need to be working with students in groups or one on one. I know we are at the beginning of the year but I prefer they are not making copies.
- Mr. Marshall and the library, if you are wanting to use the library, please make sure he does not have a class or group scheduled. This is his space during our morning block.
- Pictures you take during class, please send/share with me via email. I place them in a folder and share with Jerrianne for the yearbook.
- Helen will only being doing pull-out this week; she is assisting Yvonne's sub and Megan's sub with STAR and PTR.
