It's Prom Time!
It's that time of year again...PROM! All juniors and seniors are now welcome to complete the prom contract that can be found linked below or on the high school webpage. The prom contract will close to ALL students on Friday, April 1st. Read each section of the contract carefully for all important details on payment collections and table forms. If you have any questions regarding prom, email Mrs. Ross at jross@marsd.org.
Prom payments will be collected from April 1st to 14th. All payments must be handed directly to Ms. Ross in room 403.

National Honor Society Peer Tutoring Sign Up
Please complete this form if you are interested in National Honor Society Peer Tutoring! The form is only accessible through students’ MARSD accounts. Tutoring will be in person, either during lunches or after school.

AMSC Chris Dhume Memorial Scholarship
Due May 2, 2022
For: Graduating seniors who played on the MRHS soccer team this fall and who played soccer with AMSC rec and/or travel for 3 years minimum, are eligible to apply.
It is never too early to start getting informed on Scholarships! There are many reasons why a student can qualify for a scholarship; academics, athletics etc. Below are a few different Scholarship websites. All applications and further information can be found on Naviance or in this folder.

YMCA Counseling Services
MRHS's Mental Health counseling partner, the YMCA of Greater Monmouth, offers counseling services to students. They are conducting in person sessions and telehealth services. Here is a link with more details. The insurances they accept have been updated: NJ Family Care/Medicaid, Horizon, AETNA, United Healthcare, UMR, Oxford.

Volunteer Opportunities
New Volunteer Opportunities
Matawan Recreation Commission is looking for volunteers for their Easter Egg Hunt (201 Broad Street in Matawan) scheduled for 4/9 between 12PM-2PM. Responsibilities would include: putting out 5000 easter eggs, supervise the bounce house and help with the line for the Easter Bunny. Please fill out this form if you are interested.
Matawan Recreation is looking for CITS (counselors in training) for their annual summer camp held at Ravine Drive. It runs 5 weeks from June 27th- July 29th 8:30AM- 1PM. If any students is interested in learning how the program works, please contact Mrs. Longo (amandalongo@marsd.org).

Student Technology Issues
For example, if you were never issued a district chromebook, if your district chromebook is not working correctly, or if your login to the BYOD network is not working correctly. There is also an option to select "other," and we will update the form as needs are identified.
Beginning Tuesday, our student-run "Tech Squad" will begin trouble-shooting issues during lunch periods.
Are you a student interested in joining our "Tech Squad?" Access the form above and complete it by selecting the option titled, "I would like to be a member of the "MRHS Student Tech Squad!"" A member of the squad will be in touch!!!!
