Merry Christmas
and a Blessed New Year!
Thank you for your participation in Women's Ministry for 2014. You have been a blessing.
Ladies of Harvest,
I just wanted to send out one last email for 2014 to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas. As you know by now, there will be no women's meeting for the month of December. I know that all of our schedules are very busy as we prepare for Christmas so once again I have opted to take a break for December.
I am excited about what God has in store for each of us in 2015. About a year and a half ago when I was offered the leadership role of the women's ministry I sent out a survey to get feedback from you. The information that I gleaned from that survey has been such a help to me. I would like your help in completing a new 2015 survey so I can hear what you have liked and hear what you are looking for in the new year. Please complete the attached survey and either email it back to me or print it out and return it to me. Thank you in advance for your help. This is your women's ministry and I want you to have a voice. When you complete your survey your name will be entered into a drawing for a new Christmas CD.
Coming up on Friday, January 16th Freda will be sharing with us a word for 2015. I am really looking forward to hearing her heart. (Details to follow.)
In closing, here are some verses that remind us of God's great love for us that He would send us a savior.
With love,
Emily
Isaiah 9:2 (NKJV)
The people who walked in darkness
Have seen a great light;
Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,
Upon them a light has shined.
Micah 5:2-4 (NKJV)
2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from of old,
From everlasting.”
3 Therefore He shall give them up,
Until the time that she who is in labor has given birth;
Then the remnant of His brethren
Shall return to the children of Israel.
4 And He shall stand and feed His flock
In the strength of the Lord,
In the majesty of the name of the Lord His God;
And they shall abide,
For now He shall be great
To the ends of the earth;
