Holy Trinity Catholic School
Home of the Saints
From the Principal's Desk:
Communication is critical, and we are currently in the process of entering all of our students and families into Sycamore and School Reach so that we can keep you informed. We will utilize Sycamore for a number of things. The calendar of events, lunch menus, family directory, student homework and grade portal, and service hour logs will all be accessed through Sycamore. This should all be complete next week and we will send out login information and helpful reference sheets at that time. Thank you for your patience as we get our system up and running!
Every week on Wednesday, you should be on the lookout for our "Purple Folders", which contains important information from the School Office, along with any community information. This folder will come home with your youngest K-8 student or preschool student. You should take out the papers from the "Purple Folders" on Wednesday evening and then return the folder to school on Thursday so that we have it for the following week. For preschool families who do not have an older sibling in K-8, you will receive your "Purple Folder" on either Wednesday or Thursday according to your class. Please return the folder the next time your class meets.
In addition to "Purple Folders", I will also send a School Newsletter through the School Reach email address you provided. I do not typically send home a Newsletter in print, simply due to the amount of paper that generates. If you do not have access to email, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with a hard copy in the "Purple Folder".
Just a clarification for dress code. When we have a Joint Mass, that will be the only Mass that week. Thus, it will be the only day that week for Mass Day dress code. All other days that week will be NON Mass Day dress code. Joint Masses will be roughly one time a month, and will be noted on the school calendar in Sycamore. Other than this, we need to follow the dress code policy: Mass Day dress on Tuesday/Thursday for Central, and Wednesday/Friday for East. Thank you for your cooperation!
We want to keep all students safe, and to do this we need your help! We have several students at Central and East Campuses that have severe peanut allergies. We ask that you DO NOT send any snacks or lunches from home that contain peanuts. I know this can be a challenge, and sometimes it may slip your mind, but we need to ask this out of safety and concern for our students.
Thank you for all the support to make this year get off to a good start!
Have a blessed day.
Mrs. Sally Sternberg
From the Assistant Principal's Desk:
Along with the start of a brand new school, we have had the task of rearranging transportation to be as safe, effective, and accommodating as possible for the students at Holy Trinity Catholic School. As the school year progresses if you have any changes to your transportation schedule, please be sure to let me know of the change in advance so that we can locate the stop and get it set up with GJCS. The same is true for our Holy Trinity Catholic School Shuttles, as those are filling up quickly. Any change in transportation should also be sent to the classroom teacher.
We do have a few adjustments to the car line at Central Campus to ensure the safety of our students and those attending 8:00AM Mass.
- In the morning, if you need to walk your child into school, we are going to ask that you continue to enter off Lechner Lane and then pull up to park in the East Lot by the flagpole and walk down the sidewalk to the courtyard door. This will keep students from running through the car line.
- If you are dropping off students in the car line, please enter off of Lechner Lane, not Highway 56.
- Please be mindful of those attending Mass and allow them to safely cross in front of you.
- In the afternoon, if you have students who need help buckling in, please have them sit in their seat and pull forward right along the side of the church, just outside of the canopy, where you may then help them buckle in.
- If you have students who arrive from East Campus, please plan to arrive in the car line at 3:15pm. If you arrive earlier, you may park and then join the car line when the students arrive.
Thank you for your assistance.
Mr. Tyler Lemen

A Note About SCRIP
SCRIP is a great way to help support the school and lower your tuition! If you want to find out more, please contact Angie Schitter. As was noted in the back to school packet, SCRIP may be purchased anytime at the Central Campus. If you do send SCRIP through your child, orders will come home on Friday. If you are at the East Campus, please drop off your SCRIP order by Wednesday morning so we can have it filled and back to you at Friday delivery.
