The last major grade for my students will be their Living Wax Museum Project. We will be set up in the Brewer Media Center during second period 9:10-10:12 AM on Wednesday, May 22nd. I will have both of my seventh grade classes at the same time presenting their projects. I welcome any parents who would like to view this project to attend. Students should bring their tri-fold poster boards to class on Monday for grading, and have their short speech ready as well. This will allow me to start grading these portions of the project.
Please take a look at the fun and exciting summer camps offered by the district this summer. Mrs. Sexton and I will be conducting the Aeronautics Camp. Students will be building model rockets to launch. We do this as an end of year project for our eighth graders. It would be a good prelude into what students can expect to learn about next year.
It has been a pleasure teaching your child this year. I look forward to teaching them again next year in eight grade South Carolina History. I have some fun and exciting projects planned. Hope you all have a great summer.
