Corrine Durler, Jill Hohmann, Kate Mattison, Katy Nicholas and Giulia Sophy
Thanks to Bryan O’Neill, Owen Meo, and Ben Morris for coming back to Doyle the day after Liana’s Legacy to pick up trash. They remind us that good citizens are not just during school time. Thank you, boys!
Congratulations to Rosie Lefevre who received the “Talent Award” from J.P. Mascaro & Sons. The Respect Program Poster Contest was part of the Respect Program sponsored by J. P. Mascaro & Sons that teaches our fourth graders to respect themselves and their environment. Way to go, Rosie!
From The Library
Doyle’s young writers in grades 4-6 were treated to an afternoon with best-selling author Chris Grabenstein. Using humor and improvisation, Mr. Grabenstein engaged the students and shared his life and work as a writer. He offered tips on how to eliminate writer’s block, how to choose the best word, and how to make a main character in a story shine. His novel, Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library, has been a hit in classrooms and the library this year, and students cheered to hear about the sequel due out in early 2016 and a possible film version of the book.
Thanks to Ellen Mager at Booktenders for offering Mr. Grabenstein’s books to students at a discounted price.

Examples of controlled medicines include, but are not limited to: Ritalin, Dexedrine, Adderall, Phenergan with Codeine, Ativan, Tylenol #3 and Fiorinal with Codeine.

Vendor Fair Sign-Up Open Now!
The Doyle Vendor Fair will be held on Friday, November 13th, 2015 from 6-9pm.
Our vendor fair was a huge success last year! If you sell a product or service and would like to have a table at next fall's event, please sign up here.
We can only allow one table per company (i.e. only one tupperware vendor, one Stella and Dot rep, etc.). List your product or service in the comments section.
Cost for table is $30 plus a raffle item ($20 value at least).
Non-Doyle parents/vendors will have the opportunity to sign up over the summer.
May Asset: #37: Personal Power - Young Person has a Healthy Sense of Personal Power.
"He/she believes they can effect change and make a difference in their school and/or community. They believe that they have some control over things that happen in their world, that things don't just happen to them.”
Aaron also has a neighbor with special needs and once again he demonstrated great citizenship when he went over to him and asked if it was ok to hang out with him. Aaron sure has the qualities of a Soaring Eagle.
