Fun Review Strategies
End of Quarter Benchmarks are just around the corner!
Here are some low-prep review activities your students will love!
Chair Tic-Tac-Toe
Put nine chairs in 3 rows of 3 to make a square. Divide the class into 2 teams. Ask a team a question. If they get it correctly, one of their players gets to sit in one of the chairs. The first team to have 3 players sitting in a row wins.
Graffiti Walls
Break your students into groups, write one review question on each piece of chart paper, and have students rotate around the room answering the questions and sharing as many facts or details that they remember!
Power Tower
Similar to Jenga, but with paper cups. Write the question on the cup. If the class answers correctly, they get to stack the cups. If the tower falls, they have to start over. This would be fun in groups!
Human Board Game
Students create board game spaces for the floor and teachers ask review questions! Check out the video below for all the details!

Nerf Gun
Love this idea! Draw a bullseye on the board. Divide the kids into teams. Ask a team a review question. If they get the answer correct, they get to shoot at the board to see how many points they earn. So fun!
Trasketball
Utilize all your unused worksheets or task cards for this game! Make copies and pass them out to students. Students work on the questions on their own and get their answers checked by you. When they have all the answers correct, they get to crumble up their paper into a ball and make a shot into the trashcan for points!
There are lots of ways to tweak this game to work for you and your students!
Mr Potato Head
For every question the class gets correct, they get to add a body part to Mr. Potato Head. If you have more than one, your class could compete in groups!
Snowball Fight
Write the review questions on a piece of paper. Divide the kids into 2 teams. If the kids get it correct, they get to crumble it up into a ball. After all the questions have been answered, they get to have a snowball fight using the paper balls!
Stinky Feet
The rules are so simple, you answer questions in teams and any and all teams whose answers are correct get to choose a sticky note from the Stinky Feet poster.
Each sticky note has a point value on it, but this is where the game gets a little stinky. Some sticky notes have positive points, and some have negative.
In the end, the team with the most points wins!
Spoons
This one takes a more prep but looks really fun!
