Football Game Tickets

Your patrons can avoid the long lines at the ticket booth and go straight into the game on Friday if they purchase their tickets in advance at the following link: https://lps53.hometownticketing.com/embed/all?schools=17. If you could promote this to your patrons and students, that would be great.

Panorama Feedback Survey for PHHS

You have received an email from Panorama asking you to take a survey to provide feedback about Park Hill High School. Please take this survey to help inform our decisions at Park Hill High School. Thank you to those that have already taken the survey and thank you, in advance, to those that will take the survey.

Clothing Center

The Park Hill Clothing Center needs volunteers to hang clothes in preparation for the upcoming cooler weather. Volunteers are able to take clothes home with them provided they are registered as a student in the Park Hill school system. Even just 1 or 2 hours makes an impact! Location is 8009 N Atkins, just south of the Gerner Family Early Education Center. Type in “Gerner” to GPS to ensure it takes you to the correct location.

There are two sign up genius links for volunteers: There is one sign up genius for the 2-4 pm timeslot every Tuesday that doesn't have shoppers present. That sign up is here and students are welcome to help out https://www.signupgenius.com/go/508084fa4a72ba0fa7-canyou

Then there is a second sign up for the Tuesday 10-12pm and 5-7pm slots when shoppers will be there. When shoppers are present we can't have students helping due to confidentiality. That sign up is here: https://www.signupgenius.com/.../508084fa4a72ba0fa7...

We hope you can come help out - It's a rewarding experience!!

Call for works of art celebrating the 2021–2022 Reflections theme of I Will Change the World By…

PHHS PTA wants to give our students confidence in their abilities to explore ideas and learn through the arts!

Each year hundreds of thousands of students in preschool through grade 12 create and submit original works in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. Students may participate in the national awards program through their school's PTA.

The 2021-2022 theme "I Will Change the World By..." will spark imagination and creativity in school and at home. Students are encouraged to imagine, create and celebrate with Reflections during National Arts & Humanities Month this October. Submissions will be accepted November 1 - December 2.

There are six arts categories—dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. Students may enter the National PTA Reflections Program in one or more arts categories.

For more information see https://mopta.org/reflections or contact PHHS PTA Reflections Chair Karyn Walden-Forrest.

Park Hill High School Academic Awards Ceremony

The Park Hill High School Academic Awards Ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, October 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium. Academic Awards are earned by students who achieved a 3.50 or higher GPA on a weighted grading scale for 2020-2021 (last school year). All students have been instructed to check the lists posted outside the Library Media Center or in the Upper Gym Lobby for accuracy. If students feel they should be on the list, they have been instructed to email Mrs. Melott at melottda@parkhill.k12.mo.us . Once the list is confirmed and finalized, personal invitations will be emailed to parents/guardians of Academic Award honorees.

Park Hill Clothing Center

The Park Hill Clothing Center would like to thank all of the families who have contributed to our facility. For anyone not familiar with the clothing center there is more information here: Park Hill Clothing Center
There have been some changes due to Covid-19. The biggest change is that we must limit the number of people in the building. Therefore if you need to “shop” (the clothes are free) please sign up for a time slot using the link above.

Volunteers are greatly needed! We have been fortunate to have received numerous donations, however we’ve had a difficult time hanging up all of the incoming clothes with very few volunteers. If anyone has 1-2 hours to contribute we would greatly appreciate it. The above link also has a link for volunteers. New dates are periodically added so keep checking back.

Thank you for all of your help!
