Testing Tips and Reminders:
- Make sure your child arrives to school ON TIME each day next week. If your child arrives after 9:10 a.m., he/she will not be permitted to enter the testing location. They will be required to sit in a separate location until all testing is complete in the building. In addition, he/she will be required to make-up the test on the following day.
- Make sure your child is well rested and gets plenty of sleep the night before testing. Please speak with his/her extra-curricular coach to ensure any after school practices are complete in time enough for dinner and bed.
- Make sure your child eats breakfast each morning at home or school. A healthy body leads to a healthy and active mind.
- Encourage your child to stay calm and do his/her best. Be positive and celebrate everything your child has learned this year.
Last but not least, please remember…
One test does not define or determine your destiny.

What Does It Mean to be a GREAT Citizen at Hardy?
Parents, as we enter the 2nd quarter of the school year, please review the following behavior expectations with your child. Our goal is to help build life long relationships with our students by modeling GREAT citizenship on a daily basis. However, if your child does not make the right choice, he or she will be held accountable for their actions and a consequence will be given.
Hardy Elementary students will demonstrate the following GREAT behaviors daily:
Growth - You strive for improvement everyday.
Respect - You value yourself, others and your school.
Empathy - You care about other people’s feelings.
Accountability - You take ownership of your actions.
Trustworthiness - You show honesty in all you do.
Our beliefs:
We believe in treating all individuals with dignity and respect.
We believe in establishing procedures and routines to promote a positive learning environment within our school.
We believe that making good choices matter and reflecting on our choices should lead to better decision making.
