March Meeting Schedule
VOTE for SGC- Staff Elections March 19 - March 23
It is SGC elections season. Elections will take place March 19th- March 23rd for teacher representatives. We have two candidates. Each candidate has prepared a statement introducing herself and explaining why she wants to serve on the Council. I have copied and pasted below. Please take a moment to read them so you can make an informed decision about our Council representatives. All eligible school employee voters will receive a link containing the voting ballot to the email account on file at the school. Thank you in advance for taking part in the election.
TEACHERS
Tamara Watson
I am a second year teacher here at WBMS. Since I am still freshly into teaching I believe that I offer a different perspective/ point of view for the council. It is my sincerest wish that in this council I may have a positive impact on my school and community. I wish to be an agent of change representing my colleagues, students, and parents in the council. If you will have me, I will take on the responsibilities of the council with honor and grace.
Jana Bernhardt
After serving on our SGC for the past two years, I have seen our group grow and have assisted in our work on our new Strategic Plan. I would like to continue this work. I have been at Webb Bridge for five years and have worked as both an academic and Connections teacher, giving me a unique and inclusive viewpoint to bring to the council. I also serve as a sponsor for several student organizations and work hard to help our students find their voice in our school- I would work to make this part of our vision at Webb Bridge.

Do not submit the form to Talent/Human Resources.

September 1, 2017
October 5, 2017
January 16, 2018
March 8, 2018
Community Balance Days 2017-2018
September 20
October 25
February 21

The idea is that students will go home right after school to create balance in their lives. Staff members and students alike will take a night off. Club sponsors and coaches and directors may hold meetings and practices and games as needed. We feel students release stress through these extracurricular activities.
Please plan to enjoy yourself and work your assessments around these dates this school year.
