Cell Phone Committee Information

We are kicking off our District Cell Phone Committee to evaluate our current guidelines and recommendation by the School Health Advisory Mental Health Subcommittee. We have created a survey to allow all of our families to engage in this process and to help guide the committee as they work to evaluate our guidelines. This survey will close Friday, September 15th.

COVID-19

Students should self-report COVID-19 positive test results in the SSO in the COVID Central app.

In accordance with Texas Administrative Code Rule 97.7, students who test positive for COVID-

19 are required to isolate for five days after symptom onset or positive test date (whichever

occurred first). Students may return to school earlier than five days with a negative test or

healthcare provider clearance. Students must be fever-free and diarrhea-free for 24 hours

without the use of medications before returning to school.
