Good Afternoon --
One of the highlights of Saturday morning at the Eucharistic Congress is the Eucharistic procession that features banners from the many parishes and organizations of the Catholic community of Metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
For those who are able, please consider walking as a group in the procession Saturday morning with our NEW PARISH BANNER.
HELPFUL DETAILS:
**If you choose to walk with the MBS banner group, please plan to arrive at the Eucharistic Congress between 8am and 8:30am on Saturday morning.
**All the banners/groups will assemble outside of the Georgia International Convention Center.
**Look for a banner that features a stained glass window and stone features from our church. The banner reads "Most Blessed Sacrament Church."
**The Eucharistic Procession begins at 8:30am
**Deacon Fred Toca will be on hand to help gather our MBS people during the procession.
**If you come "late" -- no worries, jump in the procession if you see our banner go by.

EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS 2017
Refresh ATL
On June 18, 2015, Pope Francis released his Encyclical “Laudato Si: On Care for Our Common Home.” In it, he challenges us to reflect on the ways we use our resources and care for God’s creation. In support of this Encyclical, The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta introduces our “Refresh” campaign, which encourages Pope Francis’ message and engages our community to look at new and exciting ways we can “Care for Our Common Home.”
During this campaign, we will highlight and focus on different aspects of our home and life, which will include themes such as recycling, conservation, family and faith. The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta will celebrate the many ways that our parishes and Catholic communities “refresh” and engage others, creating a healthier home for future generations.
Steubenville Atlanta- July 7 - 9, 2017 @ Infinite Energy Center in Duluth, GA
Each summer, Life Teen hosts six different Steubenville Youth Conferences (East, West, NYC, Lone Star, NorCal and Atlanta) with the hopes of strengthening and inspiring teens and youth groups in their collective journeys to Christ. Evangelistic in nature, these weekend conferences are both a great “introduction” to the Gospel message for new or younger teens, while offering deep and moving experiences of prayer and fellowship for even your Youth Group regulars.
Come let our Life Teen Staff and volunteers spoil you – you work so hard for the teens and their families…let us work hard for you. Give your own spirit the gift of renewal and give your teens the inspiration they need to renew not only your youth group but your entire parish community. Join us for a weekend of engaging liturgies, inspiring music, challenging talks and overwhelming joy.
