Parents your engagement and involvement in your child's education is the number 1 indicator of their future success! See below for different types of parent engagement linked to child success!

Type 1: Parenting
Providing positive home conditions and structure! This includes active parenting strategies and regular communication with school

Type 2: Communicating
Effective home-to-school and school-to-home communication methods are crucial

Type 3: School Involvement
The more you know about and are a stake holder in classes and extra-curricular activities the better

Type 4: Learning at Home
Spending time with text (books) and reading, engaging in face to face interactions, asking students higher level questions about their passions and frustrations

Type 5: Decision-Making
Taking part in the classes, clubs, extracurriculars is key! Have a process at home that dedicates time to different needs

Type 6: Collaborating with Community
Finding and using resources from the wider community to enrich school life, including community groups, businesses, agencies, cultural and civic organizations, colleges, and universities
