A Message from Principal Nixon--Week of March 15, 2021
Dear Northwoods Families,
Happy St. Patrick's Day! I truly enjoyed seeing all the amazing leprechaun traps that our students made this morning as they arrived at school. It was evident that they spent a significant amount of time and energy creating them and I'm sure they will be successful!
Tomorrow, March 16th, will mark the 1-year anniversary that WCPSS schools shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic and we all know too well how much our lives and the lives of our students have changed since that point. Those leprechaun traps, along with other projects I've seen students bring in over the last couple of weeks, serve as pleasant indicators that things are gradually returning to normal. We have a long way to go, but I'm thankful for the opportunity to celebrate this St. Patrick's Day at school, with students in the building!
Please take a few minutes to review the information below.
Respectfully,
Joe Nixon
Principal
