NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
BeHappy New Year SBE Families!
We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! We really missed the kids and are excited to get back to teaching and learning!
Before we left for break, students and staff participated in a variety of activities. We had a Sing Along, a Core Values Awards Assembly and other classroom fun! The students really enjoyed these activities. I would like to thank all the parents and grandparents who came in to help in their child's classroom.
The students will continue to go outside for recess as long as it not too cold or snowing. Please remember to send your child to school with coats, hats and gloves.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the office. If you’d like to meet with me, contact the office to set up an appointment.
AUTOMATED CALLS REGARDING STUDENT ABSENCES
Beginning Monday January 24, 2022, an automated phone call and email will be sent to parents or guardians if their child is absent for the day. The calls will go out between 10:00 and 11:00 AM. This automated call will only be sent to parents and guardians if you have not reported your child's absence to the school before 10:00 am. If you receive the message, please contact our school to excuse the absence.
NEED CLASSROOM VOLUNTEERS FOR KINDER AND THIRD GRADE
We need classroom volunteers to help with our kindergarten and 3rd grade classrooms.
For kindergarten, we need volunteers Monday through Friday from 11:00 to 11:35. If you can only help 1 or 2 days, that is fine. You would be helping in the classroom with the teacher.
For 3rd grade, we need help from 2:30-3:25 on Monday and Thursday. You would be helping the teacher work with students on math.
