Free Ice Cream Friday for ALL students is back on March 31! Students can enjoy their choice of an ice cream from the cafeteria for FREE thanks to a special donation from the Science Hill Church Women's Group. We so appreciate our community's support!

The Book Fair officially starts March 6, but on February 28 all Farmer students were able to pick out a free book of their choice from the Book Fair selections. PTO funds were used to purchase a book for each student in the school. We love seeing our students excited about reading!

Later this month, all students will receive a Farmer Falcon Spirit shirt from the PTO as well.

Congratulations to 2nd grader Braxton Crumbie and Assistant Cafeteria Manager Alice Davis for receiving the STAR 3 awards for the month of February.

We are so proud of the Battle of the Books team members for doing a great job at the county preliminary competition. These students put in so much work and preparation for the competition. Special thanks to Ms. Wilburn, Ms. Davis, Ms. Athay, and Ms. Skeen for coaching the team.

Our next Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night will be Thursday, March 9 from 4-7pm. We hope you will all join us at the Randolph Mall Chick-Fil-A location and make sure you tell them you are there to support Farmer Elementary School! If you would like to help register families at Chick Fil A, please sign up HERE.

Our second annual Farmer Fun Day will be held on Saturday, April 29 from 2-6pm. We plan to have carnival style games, Gellyball, a Dunking Booth, Kona Ice, live music, a silent auction, and will sell Chicken Pie plates. We will have a live auction for classroom plates starting at 5pm, followed by the talent show starting at 6pm. Be on the lookout for more information on our PTO Facebook page and in student folders this month.

Part of our silent auction will include themed baskets for each grade level. We rely on parent support to donate items for these grade level baskets. Use the links below to sign up for items to donate for your child's grade level basket:

Students, show of your special talent at the annual Talent Show! The talent show will be held at the end of Farmer Fun Day on Saturday, April 29 @ 6pm. More information will be sent home in student folders this month.
